What we do
Padco runs a mix of CNC and manual machines under one roof, with CNC saw cutting and bar feeders to handle raw stock through to finished part. The envelopes below cover most jobs we take on — if your part is borderline, send a drawing and we'll tell you straight.
Two CNC lathes with bar feed, sub-spindle and live tooling. From shafts and fittings to valve bodies and threaded components.
4-axis VMC with through-spindle coolant and CAM-programmed toolpaths. Brackets, housings, manifolds, fixtures and prismatic geometry.
Heavy-capacity lathe for large-diameter and one-off work. Rollers, large shafts, repair work, and big-bore turning.
Universal-head manual mill for one-offs, tooling, fixture work and modifications. Often the fastest path to a finished part.
Automated programmable saw for cutting bar stock to length, square and clean. Runs alongside our turning shop to keep raw material flowing.
Aluminium (6061, 7075, cast), stainless (304, 316, 17-4 PH), carbon and alloy steels (1018, 4140, EN-series), brass, bronze, plastics (Delrin, nylon, UHMWPE). Drawing calls a material we haven't listed? Ask — chances are we've cut it.
We're a machining shop, not a foundry or a fabrication shop. We don't pour castings, do sheet metal forming or welding, or run plating or heat treatment in-house — but we work with trusted local suppliers when a job needs those steps.
